Roland went!
Tomorrow we leave for the last scheduled trip (at least for me and Henry).
The central stop is to visit two parks in Orlando to Universal Studios!
also thought of going to Disneyworld but considering the short time available and the cost really outrageous (the ticket for a single day costs $ 90-odd), we decided to put (say
P) until a later date!
Today we bought tickets for two days at Universal Studios parks ($ 108) for Jerryll but it's really worth.
very least save the hotel and travel (travel is totally free ... both the rental car that the gas will be reimbursed to Maaike)
courage and I will for the first time I'll try to go to the mountains red .... Yes, I admit ... I never went there ... I've always had a lot of fear ... Let's see if this is the right time!
We leave tomorrow around lunch time, we rented a van for 7 and in the end will leave at 6. Twan unfortunately had to return quickly to the Netherlands today as he died a few days ago and his uncle wanted to go home for a last goodbye .. return to Pensacola on Monday afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday they spend entirely within the park, Sunday morning you do not know yet where to go ... probably We dressed up and spend the Halloween wandering around Orlando! And on Monday we should wake up in time as we plan to go see the launch of Space Shuttle Discovery ( link to the mission). Honestly for me this will be the main attraction ... I can not wait to see it .. I wanted to go is from April!
After this mission, there will become just another in March after which the Space Shuttle will finally retire.
The launch will be at 16.40 hours at Cape Canaveral (in Italy will be 22:40).
After that we go somewhere (still do not know) and go home the next day ie November 2, we should arrive in the afternoon.
Yesterday I reflected a moment on the fact that there was very little time .. in fact, only 14 remain today, including working days! and 24 calendar days!
And that's why right now I am all'IHMC ... I want to do much work as possible to avoid having to run the last days. Anyway my thesis is complete I would say, I'm working on some optimizations, but the bulk is done.
A note that I write because otherwise I might forget about is that I'm finding good with Julie (the new guy who arrived a week). Since I arrived I moved the lab with him and actually I like working here much, much more ...
be updating the blog after Orlando! CIAOOOOOO!

Sciatica And Frequent Urination Treatment
stroke
Today, after a hard day at work surrounded by some moments of tension on the organization of the trip to Orlando (someone wants to come to Orlando this weekend? We have two vacancies), we went to run the usual round of Tuesday. .. Rita and I actually went to "run" while Henry remained all'IHMC seen that too much exercise and too many natural proteins caused him a bit 'back pain. I should be officially be dropped below 30 minutes and Rita arrived shortly after me ... today was really good: it has only cut 3 / 4 of the ride: P
The race was characterized by the fact that all had been strongly encouraged to run in Halloween costumes (photo ). Some costumes were really interesting.
After the race, stop at McGuire with the classical free dinner and then we went to Carlton Palms to eat my rice cake and drink some beer.
We stayed there from 20 until about 22:30 to philosophize together with Twan, Maaike and Jesper. The topic was the potential clue delll'Intelligenza Artificial Intelligence.
E 'was really a nice evening!

Halloween Costumes Halloween
Yesterday was a day of shopping! At about 15:00 Julius and his girlfriend are coming to take Carlton Palms to me, Maaike and Jesper. The appointment with the other was at 15.30 in front of the Mall, but we knew already in their late chronic .. In fact, they arrived around 16.30!
The goal of the day was to find the costumes for Halloween and I also use the move was to go shopping at wal mart because my fridge was the echo from a few days now.
Yesterday morning I had finished the milk and I thought to myself: "Well today I go to a bar to make me pasta and cappuccino, then I sadly realized that here in america do not have any of that ... that sad place: P Anyway
the Mall we can not find the costumes and I bought my ... I will not say what because I want you to see the photos came back from Orlando, but it is a really good costume!
I was the only to have found just the costume, the others then went to a shop to rent them and they finally have found!
After the Mall, I went with Julius and his girlfriend (whose name is Hannah) at Wal Mart and I did my shopping!
Back home I had a washing machine and then I went to run.
In the evening I went out with Jesper for a drink in a pub (called Hopjacks) and we have met David, Maaike, and Matthew Rebeschini (Italian, who is here for 5 years). Shortly after we reached a girl that we met last Tuesday during the trip McGuire ... it was a pleasant evening. After Matt and I have had a pleasant conversation about the American mentality. He gave me a bit ' reported its findings after 5 years of residence in the United States. Were some very nice chat!
The program now is the football game at 2 pm and then I know we'll be a bit 'on the beach (I went out today in the facciazza your flip-flops)!

What Does A Mouth Polyp Look Like
A Visitor .. the latest
This is just a small update as to the armadillo ..
The other night we slept with the garage open to hope that the intruder to go away (not that I really wanted but was forced upon us ...).
In the morning we have not seen so we assumed that he was gone so we left the car and closed the garage Jerryll automatically. Henry has not seen but both me and Jerryll are 100% sure of this.
The problem is that when we returned home in the evening the door was open again. Now we are quite concerned that someone had entered the house and then we checked and we had the inspiration ..... is highly probable that the armadillo was still hidden in the garage in the morning but we both came out while the door is closed. The problem is that, past the sensors, has made sure that the garage is opened again at all!

A Visitor ..
today's article will be short and concise ..
not for nothing that I'm writing and not "El Picciatello" ..
However, the title is enough to understand well, that the news of today is a new character, I now present to you:
This is an armadillo that tonight has seen fit to slip into our garage and decide that it would be better off there rather than ..
It 'was one of our neighbors who has noticed the movement of our guest and has warned us.
Me and Henry, who had never seen an armadillo, but those meetings are often dead on the streets of Florida as car rides, we immediately started in the garage and we have tried.
Finally, with a little 'patience as we found the Mazda.
Jerryll, visibly shaken, he was advised to close the garage the evening when you get home tonight but leave it open to hope that the animal be gone by tomorrow morning.
To be honest I think it will become in effect a member of the family, especially since the Mazda today probably made his last trip so it will be moved to a lot, and the armadillo may be holed up in there all the time that want ..

E 'got a new Italian
Today there's a new guy from Modena, named Giulio (I do not drive as I understand) .. But the last name I do not remember, I have the repeated 10 times today but nothing ... I can not remember.
He is here as a volunteer because they do not have the Undergraduate and why they failed to get him a work visa like ours ... And 'here on a tourist visa and will return to Italy because after January 5th must also take an exam and graduate. His future plans are to find now, however, a good American university to obtain his degree here in america. He has a girlfriend American and this is one of the main reasons of why it is trying to study in America (at least that's what I understand).
All'ihmc for the moment work with me on my project ... To tell the truth I have no idea what to work well ... Tomorrow I hope to have clearer guidance from Niranjan ... cmq we made a good impression and looks like a smart guy ...
He has rented a house in Pensacola Beach with a girlfriend and will stay until December the ... after you see!
Today I even cut my hair ... at 19 I had an appointment with the hair-cutter that was really Ionut. : D
the end he did a good job ... It took an hour when normally a barber seriously with me cmq takes 15 minutes but it was fun and enjoyable even have a chat with him.
In the evening, then I made a cake for after the race tomorrow ... I hope to replicate a night like last week.
I had to prepare a rice cake, but then I was missing some ingredients (for example I needed 250 grams of sugar, but I usually steal the sugar packets and dall'IHMC I should steal a lot of really ragginugere for that amount) and so I folded up one of those type cameo cakes ... very easy to do but get ready in 30 minutes .... Tomorrow I will tell you if it was really good!

Rambo 5: The Revenge of Afghans
Who has never seen Rambo 3, the action movie starring a 'former Green Beret almost invincible, the plot develops in this way (for the uninitiated):
John Rambo is in a Buddhist monastery Thailand to help in a peaceful community of monks in an attempt to find inner peace.
Colonel Trautman joins him to implicate him in a U.S. operation groped hit a Soviet commando, invaded the territory of Afghanistan, genocide does to the local population. Rambo, however, tired of being involved in absurd wars, decline the invitation of his friend.
When is subsequently informed of the capture of Trautman, resulted in an operational basis the enemy to be interrogated by Commander Zaysen, decided to intervene personally to try to free him.
then undertakes his journey to Pakistan, to find a contact in order to reach without getting noticed, near the Afghanistan. Helped by rebels of the place is able to enter the fort and, after several battles, to recall the colonel, but in an attempt to escape are being met and surrounded by fierce Russian platoons.
Just when it seems that for Rambo and Trautman is the end of some one hundred rebels intervene to help the two to fight against the invaders for their freedom. And in the end
Rambo kills the bad guy in a Russian scene to say the least absurd!.
The film was in 1988, just as in Afghanistan, there were still Russian troops, who retired in February 1989.
But today in 2010 what has changed since then?
I think basically two things:
The first is that the new invaders no longer speak Russian, but many other languages (American English, Italian, German, etc.)..
The second is that the Afghans who oppose the invasion of their land are no longer represented as the champions of freedom who are struggling to ward off invaders, but instead as the brutal torturers who kill their own people to protect their lives, all of which are bloodthirsty terrorists who do not want peace, which are Islamic extremists, and so on.
And even more has changed substantially propaganda.
I do not think that there are options to stop this war without a total withdrawal of U.S. and allied troops, which will come from who knows how long! So dear
Rambo because you do not intervene? Remember that those who are now regarded as the monsters you have saved my life many years ago, and you know them you know it is not so, help them to recover their land as only you know how to do!

Kurt Vonnegut: The blood of Dresden
writer Kurt Vonnegut was a prisoner of war in Dresden during the bombing Allies and was later forced to remove corpses from the city in ruins. In papers discovered by his son after his death in 2007 he provides a disturbing eyewitness account of the 'obscene brutality' that inspired his novel Slaughterhouse # 5.
Translated by Andrea Carancini
was a routine speech we heard the first day of our training base, made from a small muscular lieutenant: "Soldiers, you have so far been good, clean, American boys with American's love for sportsmanship and fair play. We are here to change.
"Our job is to make of you a lot of more bad and dirty bastards in the history of the world. From now on, forget the Marquess of Queensberry rules and every other rule. Everything is permitted.
"never hit a man above the belt when you can hit him below. Make the bastard scream. Kill him whenever you can. Kill, kill, kill - do you understand? ".
His speech was greeted with nervous laughter and the general idea that he was right." They did not say Hitler and Tojo that the Americans were a bunch of debolucci? Ha! I find ".
And of course Germany and Japan it was discovered: a democracy hardened pulled out a seething rage that could not be stopped. On the surface was a war between reason and barbarism, with the issues at stake so high that our fighters unleashed had no idea why they were fighting - as well as what the enemies were a bunch of bastards. It was a new kind of war, which was approved each destruction, all killing.
Many endorsed the idea of total war: it had at its disposal a modern ring, keeping pace with our spectacular technology. For them it was like a football game.
[Back home in America], three wives of shopkeepers in a small town, middle-aged and plump, they gave me a ride while I was hitchhiking back home from Camp Atterbury. "You have killed many Germans? "asked the driver, making nice conversation. I told her I did not know.
This was taken for modesty. As I left the car, one of the ladies gave me a pat on the shoulder in a motherly way, "I bet you'd get it over now and kill some of those dirty Japanese, is not it?"
We exchanged a wink. I did not say those simple souls who had been captured at the front after a week, and especially what I knew, and I thought, about killing the dirty Germans, on the war. The reason for my bitterness, then and now, it has to do with an incident that took attention from the surface American newspapers. In February 1945, Dresden, Germany, was destroyed, and with it over 100,000 human beings. I was there. Not many people know what it was brutal, America.
I was in a group of 150 infantry soldiers, captured in the background of the Bulge, and put to work in Dresden. Dresden, we were told, was the only major German city to be so far escaped the bombing. It was January 1945. He had his fate to his benign countenance peaceful hospitals, breweries, food factories, enterprises of medical supplies, pottery, musical instruments factories, and so on.
Since the war began, the hospital had become his first effort. Each day came in this peaceful retreat hundreds of wounded from the east and west. At night we could hear the dull rumble of distant air raids. "Chemnitz is under fire tonight," we said among ourselves, and we were playing to put ourselves in the shoes of bright young men with their dials and their viewfinders.
"Thank God we are in an" open city ", we thought, and so thought the thousands of refugees - women, children and elderly people, who flocked from abandoned smoking ruins of Berlin, Leipzig, Braslau, Monaco. Into the city up to twice its normal population.
There was no war in Dresden. It 's true, the planes came almost every day and the sirens howled, but the planes were always somewhere else. The alarms provided a moment of relief in a boring day at work, an opportunity for socializing, gossiping in the possibility of air-raid shelters. The shelters, in fact, were not much more than a gesture of recognition of national emergency casual, wine cellars and basements with benches and sandbags blocking the windows, mostly. There were few at the bunker, in the city center, near government offices, but nothing comparable to the trusted underground fortress that rendered Berlin indifferent to her daily pounding. Dresden had no reason to prepare for an attack - there is a story about it.
Dresden was surely among the most delicious city in the world. Its streets were broad, lined with shady trees. It was dotted with numerous small parks and statues. He had wonderful old churches, libraries, museums, theaters, art galleries, gardens, a zoo and a famous university.
was also a paradise for tourists. Would be much more knowledgeable than me on the beauties of the city. But the impression I have is that in Dresden - in his physical presence - there were symbols of the good life: it was nice, honest, intelligent. These symbols were waiting in the shadow of the swastika, as monuments to the truth. Like a treasure accumulated over hundreds of years, Dresden eloquently expressed in the excellence of European civilization, of which we are deep in debt.
I was a prisoner, hungry, dirty, and full of hatred for those who had captured, but I loved this city, and saw the blessed wonder of her past and the rich promise of its future.
In February 1945, American bombers reduced this treasure to crushed stone and hot coals, and the gut with high explosives and incendiary bombs.
The atomic bomb can be a wonderful advancement, but it is interesting to note that the TNT and thermite managed to exterminate in one bloody night more people than died in all the blitz of London. The stronghold of Dresden exploded a dozen shots against our airmen. Once back at the base and sipping a cup of coffee, probably said: "An anti unusually light tonight. Well, I guess it's time to go to bed. " The British pilots captured by the unit combat tactics (which covered the front line troops) rebuked those who had led the heavy bombers in the raid on the city: "How the hell you endured the stench of urine and boiling wheelchairs burned?"
Here's a snippet of news absolutely routine: "Last night our planes attacked Dresden. All planes returned safely. " The only good German is the German dead, more than 100,000 men, women and children wicked (those with disabilities were at the front) have always taken for granted by their sins against humanity. By chance, I met a bombardier who had taken part in the attack. " "Odiammo do it," he said.
The night arrived, we went in the closet of an underground meat abattoir. We were lucky, because it was the best shelter in town. The giants walked the earth above us. At first light came the murmur of their dancing on the outskirts, then the rumble of their advance towards us, and then the deafening roar of their steps above us, and from there again on the outskirts. Were flooding back and forth: it was the saturation bombing.
"I was screaming and crying and I clung to the walls of our shelter," said an old lady. "I prayed to God saying," Please, please, please, dear God, stop them. " But I do not listen. No force could stop them. They came, wave after wave. There was no chance to surrender, nor to tell them that we were not more. There was nothing else to do but sit and wait for the morning. " His daughter and his nephew were killed.
Our little prison was burned to its foundations. We had to be evacuated in a far-field occupied by South African prisoners. Our guards were a bunch of sad and volkssturmer elderly and disabled veterans. The majority were citizens of Dresden and had friends and family involved in the Holocaust. A corporal, who lost an eye after two years on the Russian front, before we left he had learned that his wife, his two children and both parents had been killed. He had a cigarette. The split with me.
Our march to new quarters took us to the edge of the city. It was impossible to believe that anyone had survived in the center. Under normal circumstances, the day was cold, but occasional gusts from hell made us sweat colossal. And, under normal circumstances, the day was clear and bright, but a dull and oppressive cloud had turned the day into dusk. A procession left
obstructed exit routes; people with blackened faces furrowed with tears, someone who brought the wounded, some of the dead. They gathered in the fields. He did not talk anyone. Someone, with the end of the Red Cross did what he could for the victims.
grouped with the South African, spent a week without working. In the end, were re-established contacts with the command and we were ordered to walk seven miles to the area hardest hit.
nothing in the district had escaped the fury. A city of buildings reduced to shells, jagged, broken statues, tree split, and each vehicle was immobile, wrinkled and burned, reduced to rust or rot by the passage of furious force. The only sounds were those of the plaster as well as our falling and its echo.
I can not describe the desolation in an appropriate way, but I can give you an idea of how we did feel, in the words of a British soldier who was delirious in a hospital for prisoners of luck, "I say it's scary. I walked into one of them bloody streets and felt a thousand eyes upon me, those of the dead. I could hear them whispering behind me. I turned to look at them and there was a soul. We can hear them and you can listen to but there's never anyone there. " We knew that he was saying was true.
For the job of "rescuing" We were divided into small groups, each with a guardian. Our macabre task was to search for the bodies. It was a rich hunting that day and others that followed. We started on a small scale - here a leg, there an arm, and an occasional baby - but we found an important trend, before noon.
We made our way through a basement wall to discover a smelly mess of more than 100 humans. It must have penetrated the fire before the building collapse ostruisse exits, because the flesh of those who were remembered in the texture of prunes. Our task, it was explained, was to make us way through the disaster and to take away the remains. Encouraged by slaps and insults, we started to work. We did exactly that, because the floor was covered with a nauseating brew made of pipes and burnt entrails.
A number of victims, not completely dead, had tried to escape through a narrow emergency exit. There were several bodies still trapped in the passage. Their leader had traveled halfway before being buried up to his neck from brick and plaster fell. I think he was about 15 years.
E 'with some regret that tarnish the reputation of our airmen, but, guys, you killed an awful lot of women and children. We had to exhume their bodies and take them to mass funeral pyres.
The funeral pyre technique was abandoned when it was discovered that had the largest number of deaths. There was not enough manpower to implement it well, so he was sent down a man with a flamethrower, to cremate them where they were. Burned alive, suffocated, crushed - men, women and children indiscriminately killed.
With all the nobility of the cause for which we fought, we created to secure our Belsen. The method was impersonal but the result was equally cruel and ruthless. This, I fear, is the nasty truth.
When we got used to the darkness, the stench and the carnage, we began to ask who it was, each of those bodies, when he was still alive. It was a sordid game: "Rich, poor, beggar, thief ..." Someone had swollen handbags and jewelry, others had valuable things to eat. One child had his dog on a leash still close to him.
of our work in the shelters themselves, were responsible for renegades of Ukrainians in German uniform. They were drunk by the wine cellars and seemed to greatly enjoy their task. It was profitable, because the body stripped of all valuables before you take them on the road. Death had become such a cliche that we could joke about our dismal burdens and choose in the midst of so much garbage.
Not so with them, especially the young: we had put on stretchers with care, placing it with some semblance of dignity funeral in their final resting place before the pyre. But our retention scared and gave painful, as I said, cynicism itself. At the end of a horrible day, we smoked and contemplate the impressive pile of dead who had accumulated. One of us threw the stub of his cigarette on the pile: "The bells of hell," he said, "I am ready for death every time he wants to come get me."
few days after the raid, the sirens screamed again. Survivors apathetic leaflets were thrown and crushed. I lost my copy of the proclamation but I remember saying something like: "The people of Dresden: we were forced to bomb your city because of the heavy military traffic that your rail installations were supporting. We realize that it did not always hit our objectives. The destruction of everything else belongs to military activity in relation to events of the war involuntary and unavoidable. "
That explained the massacre to the satisfaction of all, I'm sure, but it aroused no little contempt. It 's a fact that 48 hours after the last B-17 was swarmed westward for a deserved rest, the battalions of engineers arrived at railways damaged and brought to an almost normal. None of the railway bridges on the Elbe was knocked out. The pointing device manufacturers should blush to learn that their marvelous devices dropping bombs up to three miles off target compared to what the Army says it wants to strike.
The leaflet should have said: "We hit all the churches, hospitals, museums, theaters, your university, the zoo, and every public building in town, but I honestly did not want. C'est la guerre. We are very sorry. In addition, the saturation bombing is very fashionable these days, you know. "
There was a tactical significance: stop the railroads. Excellent transaction, no doubt, but the technique was horrible. The aircraft began to run from their compartments incendiary bombs and high potential on the edge of the city, and throughout the sequence of their shots must have been trained by a Ouija board. [2]
Try to classify the loss against the benefits. Over 100,000 civilians and a magnificent city destroyed by bombs dropped out of the declared objectives: the railroads were put out of commission for about two days. The Germans counted the largest loss of life suffered for each raid. The death of Dresden was a bitter tragedy, which was implemented in a free and deliberate. The killing children - children Germans or Japanese, or those of any enemy, the future may have in store - it can never be justified.
replication obvious to my complaints is the most hateful of all clichés: "It's war," or: "If they are looking for. All I understand is force. "
Who is that if you asked for it? All I understand is force? Believe me, it is not easy to identify the fields where they grow the fruit of anger when collecting babies in baskets or helping a man dig where he thinks we can find a wife. Of course, the enemy army and industrial installations to be easily affected, and woe to those foolish enough to seek shelter nearby. But the policy of 'America inflexible, "the spirit of revenge, the approval of each and every crime destruction, we have gained a reputation as a brutally obscene.
Our leaders have had carte blanche on what they could or could not destroy. Their task was to win the war as quickly as possible, and while they were admirably trained to do so, their decisions on the fate of certain priceless relics of the planet - as in the case of Dresden - were not always sensible. When the war ended, the Wehrmacht was in pieces on all fronts, our planes were sent to destroy this last major city, I doubt that it was asked: "What are the advantages we had by this tragedy, and how to hold these advantages in comparison with the negative effects in the long run?"
Dresden, a beautiful city, built in the spirit of art, a symbol of a remarkable legacy, so that anti-Nazi Hitler visited it only twice during his reign, a center now so bitterly in need of food and hospitals - was plowed furrows and were sprinkled with salt.
There can be no doubt that the Allies fought on the right side, and the Germans and the Japanese on the wrong side. The Second World War been fought for reasons almost sacred. But I remain convinced that the sword of justice with which we fought, the indiscriminate bombing of civilian populations have been blasphemous. That the enemy has done for them first, it has nothing to do with the moral problem. What I saw of our air war, while the European war was ending, he had the mark of an irrational war for war. Delicate citizens of American democracy have learned to hit a man below the belt and to scream "bastard".
Russian troops of occupation, when they discovered that we were Americans, embraced us and congratulated us for the total ruin brought by our aircraft. We accepted their congratulations with good grace and modesty contrite, but I felt then, as I feel now, I'd give my life to save Dresden for future generations. This is what everyone should try in every city on the planet.
writer Kurt Vonnegut was a prisoner of war in Dresden during the bombing Allies and was later forced to remove corpses from the city in ruins.

In the morning I had a long telephone conversation with a person very dear to me (who knows 'if he is reading) and it' was very pleasant to spend hours on the phone, I needed. In the afternoon, usually lunch "when it comes comes" in the sense that we always eat uncoordinated to Saturday, but today 'the CONSIDERS (also known as Lovely Rita) with great love had prepared spaghetti for me seeing that delays with the call. When I returned I found that it was even going to WALMART to the grocery store and replenish our pantry alas that was definitely lacking, say we had just finished everything, it was left over 'to devour anything and we had to run for cover to avoid starvation. In the afternoon, the idea would be to go for a run with a peak, but unfortunately our car and 'in serious condition (say, that does not stop more') and then we had to give up and run separately. I'm increasing the course load and now exceeds 8 km, pulling Piccio also is continuing to train and always amazes me how much it improves quickly! Unfortunately, because of my race that has' lasted far too long we arrived slightly late to the Greek Festival, one of those rare social events in Pensacola where we are seeing something "different". The already waiting for us to 'hit, Maaike and David who had already 'jelly around the greek food and we had not been more' anything. Cosi 'to console me and Twan the Rita we went to buy the dessert (of what was left of it) and we took a white cake with almond consigliataci insistence by David. Me and 'liked it enough, but Rita already' after the first bite and had a face contorted in disgust, and the poor and cake 'over for a little while in the basket of garbage: D. After the Greek Festival we went to the cinema to see "Let Me In " a sort of love story between a boy really well done and a little girl with big problems (between the various problems, 'a vampire) with peak dramas and thrillers. What, other than Twilight, this and that is' a vampire movie with controcazzi! Really beautiful and original, I recommend everyone to go see it when you come out 'in Italy!
EDIT: I realize now that the peak also told of the day today, so there 'no way you read both articles: P do you do double work!
I leave you with a picture of New Orleans (and 'old, but I always like to conclude with some pictures). Specifically this is what we called "The umbrella crazy." The umbrella crazy and 'that umbrella that if you buy it in New Orleans in a day of heavy rain (but it must be really busy) and maybe even open it to use it and not get wet, it suddenly EXPLODES! Here is a picture of us 3 (the peak if he was laughing like crazy behind the car) after the explosion umbrella ..

Good Song Picnik Quotes
purely personal note I am writing this for me, so do not forget. : P
October 16, 2010, is a date that I remember today as two of my dearest friends got married ... I would have liked to be home to attend their wedding ...
Today, instead of just going to the wedding, I got up and cazzeggiano a bit 'on the internet and then went all'IHMC to continue my program ... I finally finished it today and Monday I'm going to ask him to Niranjan test could start making ... I hope who has a vague idea: P
But I begin to really see the end of development for my thesis (after missing just write).
In the morning I also rewrote my resume: I thought that this year (from December until May) I'd go back to school (in the same when I worked in 2008) to hold back the post of laboratory assistant Computer ... I had already done in 2008 when I missed only two exams and the thesis for three years ... now I find myself in the same situation but with the difference that the development of the argument is already closed .. and maybe soon I could start writing it already.
That work I liked a lot and this year would fall again bean. So, again this morning, I sent my resume and job application (there is a call for which you must ask the question of assuzione).
I should know if they take me to the end of October .. I'm crossing my fingers!
In the afternoon then went to run (I could go back to the famous 5 km .. = P) but I know that Henry is exceeding all limits: today should be arrived at 8 km run without stopping. Maaike
In the evening invites me to the Greek Food Festival (Festival of greek food) along with David ... so we go to eat there. Henry, Rita, and Twan Jerryll joined us after an hour and a half and when they arrived (around 9.40), the festival was about to close ... so they took only the sweet and after we went to the cinema to see "Let Me In" (Let me) .. is not a porn film, is more or less scared in certain scenes, but to tell the truth more than fear takes quite a while 'anxiety .. cmq me I'm not completely disappointed ... the basic idea I liked but there's a bit 'too much blood for my taste!
After the film all to sleep in their homes (even patience to bring pictures of my studio, tomorrow I promise you that!)

Preparation H And Dogs
Progress
Today I did my first used the washing machine and dryer here in Carlton Palms ... I spent a total of $ 2.50 and the final result is not so satisfactory ... finished cycle of the dryer still had a bit of stuff 'wet and bothered me spend another $ 1.25 for the dry stuff soon .. so I made up my room a bit 'of drying racks, and I hope that during the whole night to dry ... The next time you put in less stuff;)
fairly productive day at work, in the sense that I noticed several errors in my program (I started to do some tests and defects popping up like mushrooms), but I'm confident and satisfied cmq !
Even for Rita today was a day of release in the work ... I do not know what has combined but today we heard the words that long-awaited "the federation works!" (Federation is the name of the project they are working ... I do not know if it is male or female ... )
Henry today instead chose to head to buy a mobile phone with Android to continue the project that had started in the beginning ... But someone else will take care of!
Today we also booked to Orlando ... you spend very little (like $ 20 per person per night at this hotel link)
and in theory the rental car and gasoline there will be reimbursed for the same speech to reimburse all Maaike;)
and 'truly a big saving. This time we will be 7 to go ... 5 of us in Atlanta as Henry and Rita! Departing on 29 afternoon after work and will return on 2 .. November 1st there will be the launch of the space shuttle ... We are all crossing their fingers that we will postpone the launch to avoid ... In fact, the weather should be perfect ... otherwise refer!
Now we are beginning to raise the issue of the Halloween costume that moving to Orlando ... Halloween is really felt here ... is already more than a month that you see around the costumes ... this weekend maybe we will find the time to equip.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with the barber to cut my hair ... Ionut is the barber that he lives in Carlton Palms ... after work tomorrow I will go to him: P. .. we hope to do a good job, also because my cut is so easy!
OK, I greet all and goodnight!

Are Sore Knees Normal When You Start Running
two weights two measures
If you are "foreign" and being massacred, raped or beaten by your father, brother, husband, boyfriend, uncle, the fault is all backward culture you come from, and it is right and necessary that we, the civilized people and democratic, we are in your country to bring democracy with an army of invasion, and exterminating your own people by demolishing their homes.
If you're Italian and being massacred, raped or beaten by your father, brother, husband, boyfriend, uncle, you've only had the misfortune to happen there just as it was in the grip of a mad fit of inexplicable violence and madness, one of the "rapture" in this country have an excuse not to understand the daily violence against women by relatives and acquaintances.
This way of seeing things bother me too much because in the second case is a matter that concerns me very personally.
also thinking that violence is committed against all battered women, no less than physical.

Find the intruder!
Quest'arabo bearded is known Ayman Al-Zawahiri, Bin Laden's lieutenant, in short, an Islamic terrorist who wants to kill as many infidels as possible, check out some video message to alert the Western infidels that there will be new attacks.
This image was taken by one of his videos.
Did you find the intruder? look at the curtains, what do you see?
The Star of David! What does a symbol that represents the Jewish religion behind an Islamic extremist?
Maybe it's just an oddity, I do not know, but if I were you I would start to ask me some questions.
The image I took on this blog: Blogging Gianluca Freda.
Read also the article is very interesting!

Terror! Next
On 27 February 1933, the Nazis set fire to the building of the German Parliament to give the blame for that attack the communists. Following this serious incident Hitler proclaimed a state of war on terrorism by asking the German parliament (the Reichstag) to give it broad powers to defeat the terrorists. His preposterous rhetorical leverage he needs security for the nation's claiming that such powers were essential to protect the freedom and welfare of the German people.
Following the attack organized by himself, Hitler persuaded the German legislators to give it all the emergency powers "necessary" to bring the country out of the crisis of terrorism. With such a device the fuhrer got what became known as the "Decree of the full powers", a measure that allowed Hitler to suspend "temporarily" civil liberties, that is until the "crisis" was not passed. But once you get full control over the people with a de facto dictatorship, a state of crisis that should be considered provisional provisional instead became practically permanent. And so with "the threat of terrorism ever present, Hitler was able to be renewed by the Reichstag full powers, powers he held until he lost his trail in the bunker in Berlin 12 years later.
Thomas Jefferson said: "There are people having to be afraid of their governments, but governments should be afraid of their people."
But the people must be united to create fear, I think that the powerful know it too well and this is exploiting the fear of people in the little-known peoples to feed hatred and racism, to separate the people between them, and at the same time able to maintain and strengthen its own position.
The story is chock-full of people like Hitler to gain more power have made the most of this situation.
But even today this is the case, they sell us fear, terror, terror, terror, and terror. Unabated.
For example, if you're on the airport and you see an Arab with a beard and a coat is sure to be an Islamic terrorist, if you see a Romanian street be careful who raped protresti / a, do not worry if you see a black man selling drugs, if you see a and you're a Muslim woman who passes in front of a mosque stone you may be aware that if you do not have the veil, etc.. etc. ....
But someone explain why the news programs or newspapers on any occurrence of crime, and not only specify the nationality of the person who commits a crime? What difference does it make whether the murderess example is Italian, Moroccan and Romanian? Or if it's Christian, Muslim or Jewish? It makes no sense, if a person kills no matter the origin or religion must be sent immediately to jail and stay there forever!
But in so doing they feed hatred and prejudice against completely innocent people who have nothing to do, men and women who look with suspicion without any logical reason, and it increases even more fear.
But someone also explains why every time the alarm turns out attacks around the world launched by the secret services of any country? If you think a moment to notice that these likely attacks are not mentioned any serious evidence to confirm it.
few weeks ago, the Pope was in England, it seems that someone wanted to organize against careful he and several people were arrested and then? And then they were released because they had nothing to do! FRAUD!
Well, you know what? I think our point of view is reversed: you want to see that the real terrorism of today is the direct responsibility of those who denounced it? To guard against this type of violence the bullet proof vest is not absolutely nothing.
This situation of constant fear is a veil that we do not want to see the real problems we have, as the crisis of jobs, lowering wages, layoffs, mobility, a pension that perhaps those like me will never reach, cuts costs, political who think only about their interests, extreme climate change, the collapse of the Amazon, the market for sex. We want to split at the end because they are afraid of us and what we could become if we try and calculate.
Malcolm X argued that Islam is capable of eliminating all forms of racism and discrimination, I think that even without Islam, the man would be able to do the same.
We just have to strive a bit, switching off the television and turning on the brain. We should not judge people based on their provenzienza and religion but by their actions.
